Hi,

I can't decide what to do, and I'll accept anyone's opinions.

I have a 66 convertible that is completely restored to original. It came with a factory AM radio which works perfectly.

I have a 66 8 track player that is in perfect shape and operates perfectly.

Part of me wants to install the 8 track, but I don't know if I can bring myself to cutting out the dash and doors for speakers.

Any advice will be appreciated. I just can't decide.

Thanks for your time,
John Thomas

AM, No way I would cut up a good car. If it's tunes you want then it's Secret Audio. Thats my opinion....Billy

Thanks for the opinion.

Actually, it's not so much that I want the tunes. I just kind of hate having this rare, expensive 8 track and not using it. I thought it would be pretty cool in the car.

You are right, I definitely wouldn't cut the car's dash to put non-original parts in it.

Even if I don't use the 8 track, I don't want to sell it, they are too hard to come by in this condition. So, it may just end up taking up space.

Thanks again,
John Thomas
