ok ok, I did not follow the advise I read about installing the screws before the headliner. Couldn't find the screws at the time and did not want to wait.

66 Coupe. Would like a pic of the roof area (with headliner removed) for the visor so that I can get a visual idea of where the holes are.

Any help is appreciated

Here's a pic of the area where the support bracket is supposed to go: it was never welded in at the factory for Midlife...can you believe it?

Thanks, I have the rear mirror mounted in that location with the supports

Do you happen to have a pic of the area for the visor pivot point ?

No, I sure don't. When I read your title about visor mounting point, I was thinking of the bracket that holds them up, not the true mounting point.

Do you own a sewing needle? A really thin one?

I agree with Dave. A little sewing needle can search and locate the holes. Don't know if a 68 is different but I could (upon request) take a pic of Shag's visor holes.
