I'm just curious if the repro sheet metal is a better option than going w sheet metal from a donor car. Specifically, I need a hood and LH/RH fenders. Dallas Mustang also has original tooling fenders but are a hefty 379.00. In this case, I'd gladly pay the cost if the original tooling was the best quality. If anyone locally has a source for donor parts, I'd be in your debt.

Original OEM sheetmetal will ALWAYS fit better. I just had a Mustang with aftermarket fenders L&R. To me it was obvious due to the varying gaps between the doors. The top near the W/S did not fit right. The headlight door was not a perfect fit. And they had Chinese righting stamped into the fender lip.

I also used an "original tooling" qrt panel on my 57 Vert and had to do a lot of fitting to make it right.

Advice, if you can get OEM, get oem.
