Need to ID 68' convertible inner panels . . .

I'm headed to Carlisle next week and have been tasked with finding the rear interior quarter trim--specifically the metal part that surrounds the quarter window mechanism (with or without the fiberglass part of the trim.) Here is the 65/66 version:

I have the 65/66 type on hand but need to know the difference between the 65/66 versions and, specifically, the 68 version. What notable features can I use to IID the different years?

I already know that the attaching fiberglass parts are the same from 65-68 BUT for some reason the metal part is different in the later years?

68 won't have the one snap on the top edge toward the back.

Thanks. That was my original thought. Would it have the same indentations on either side of the upper RH leg, as clearly seen the above photo?

Any other differences there? Are the 68's metal pieces different than the 69+ pieces?
Yes, that recess is on both sides and it's for a bit more clearance for the convertible top hinge assembly.

Can't comment on the 69.

Thank You.
I literally just posted about this 2-3 weeks ago. Currently sanding and painting the old ones but wanted the knowledge of spares available.
Let me know what you find!

I didn't find any 67/68 conv 1/4 panels. I checked the show field cars and found only a small difference to my 65/66 type 1/4.

The only difference I saw was that the upper front of the panel has a slight (maybe 3/16") inward indentation for about 1" of the window beltline felt location, whereas the 65/66 uses a straight felt (discounting the normal fore/aft arc of each) and no indentations. All the 67/68 coupes I looked at had the exact same inward indentation as the vert.
Thanks for info. I was able to sand, prime, and paint one panel. Waiting to remove and do the other. Trying to coordinate a long weekend to get that, the convertible hydraulics and frame done all at once.
