Getting ready to install some new shock plates and can't seem to find the torque specs for the u-bolts. My Haynes manual is worthless. Thanks for the help.

Ford & Haynes manual both list the u-bolt nut @ 35-50 lbs.

I have never torqued mine but I bet it was more than 35 or 50ft lbs and I always check them after I've driven the car to make sure they are still tight. They will settle in and strectch. This is even more so with longer truck u-bolts.
