Well, as some of you read a few days back, I recently took over as the new keeper of "Feex"'s beautiful '70 Grabber.
We had a few trials and tribulations along the way, but Ed (Feex) is a great guy, and we ended up finding we had an amazing amount in common, including being born almost exactly 6 months apart.
He's had the car a long time, and it's in great shape, and has been complemented by some work that was done just prior to delivery, and also since I just got it last Monday.
As part of the agreement, Ed added a 3.55 Trac-Loc diff, 550# 1" lower coils and roller spring perches, the front spoiler, the Grabber stripe, and a jillion little fixes he wanted to take care of "pre-delivery", which I greatly appreciate.
Since it arrived here, it's gotten several new items under the hood, including an Optima battery, Taylor 8mm plug wires, a Pertronix coil, and a Holley 600. Add to that a new set of Magnums w/ larger tires, a flip-top gas cap, a HumpHugger console and a nifty black leather Nardi steering wheel. A new stereo is sitting on my desk, awaiting installation.
To say I'm in love would be a major understatement. It's solid, drives well, and goes like a bat out of hell. Oh yeah - its gorgeous, too.
Obviously, other folks thought so, too, because I took a chance and drove the little beauty up to a car show about 65 miles away in the high desert (that although "officially" was sponsored by our local club, was really the result of the work of fellow VMFer "Jim_Williamson"!). Pics will be posted of the show elsewhere.
Would you believe she took a trophy on her very first outing??? Wow, I was blown away. Not only were there 15 or more very well-qualified Mustangs there, it was a field of about 70 cars of all types. What a great first showing!
But I'm rambling. I'm shutting up, and here's the pics:

I like the addition of the new car to your sig pic but you should put them in a row. Right now they are lined up in a column and it is worse than the biggest sig pic I have ever seen!

Congrats on the car and the trophy! Quick question if anyone knows, would that rear interior panel fit in a 67-68 FB? It looks a lot like the panel in this picture:

I know. I didn't like it much either, but they won't line up straight across. I guess I'll keep them bunched up (just changed to), or decide which one to leave out...
