Just bought back a '68 Cougar that I had sold to a guy here in my town. It was one of those deals where you say "if you ever want to sell it, call me first" and that's just what he did. It needs quite a bit of work here and there to be sweet, but it's a good solid driver. It's a 302 4spd car.

Did you buy it back cheaper than you sold it? I have done that a few times.
My brother is looking for a 67-68 cougar driver. Not a show car but somthing he can drive everyday, He has no patients for a restoration.
Want to sell????????(Again)

Of course I bought it back WAY cheaper then I sold it for. I sold it 8 years ago for 3K and change. I just bought it back for $500. It's tax time you know......hehe. It does have 8 years of iffy maintenance and the paint has gone from damm nice to "needs a paint job" but still it doesn't look bad.

No, it's not for sale this time.............. *G*

That is way cheaper,
My first stang was a 65 coupe Driver that I paid 1000 bucks for. It needed Restoration but it drove OK. Well I sold it to my freind for 1600 bucks and he Dumped about 3 grand into if for new chrome, Interior, Wheels&tires, ETC.... Then he started doing bodywork and ran out of money, I told him to do the body first but I guess he didn't hear me. He tried to sell it but the metal was all cut up and it really looked bad.
So he called me begging me to buy it since he was so broke, he wanted 4 grand which was a loss for him but there was no way he could ever get that much. I told him I would give him 1000 bucks Because thats all I could afford. He said a few choice 4 letter words and hung up.
Called back the next day and said he was sorry, He said his SWMBO yelled at him for not taking my 1000 dollars cash. He came over and left the car, I thought he was going to cry. I kind of felt bad since I sold him the car.
Anyway I striped off all the new parts he put on, Some of which are still in my attic. Sold the new TT wheels for 600 bucks. Put some old station wagon wheels on it and sold it as a project for 900 bucks to a guy that drove it home. I told him the same thing, if he wants to sell it let me know. Ofcorse I told my friend I Junked the car after I stripped it....
