fyi for anyone that runs or plans to use boss 302 blocks for there projects. ford racing is re making the 4 bolt main boss 302 block avaliable in mid 2006. screw in freeze plugs and everything. no price listed yet but it will be better than paying big bucks for a worn out original. part is listed in the 06 ford racing catalog. i would think the cost would be inbetween the 2 bolt sportsman block and the race blocks but who knows....

that is probably true. i just know lots of people are getting big bucks for worn out boss blocks on places like ebay. the boss was the strongest ford made production block and this one is supposed to be stronger than the original and would be brand new. and yes i'm sure it is expensive....

The R302 Block is what we use
A little heavier, does have 4 bolt mains
thicker than the dart block, helps with heat
What kind of Racing?
The wait for the boss block is going if not already long
Not Avail. until mid-summer..........1795.00 is what we're hearing for a cost!!!
Going to guess that most race teams will eat up all the first run of blocks made.
