Hello all, have been a long time lurker, finally decided to join. Thanks for adding me. Prowd owner of 1970 sports roof, has been a project for 3 years now. Body work is just about done getting ready to start paint soon. The picture of the retro looking guy was my father in law, who bought the car in the early 80's, he passed in 2004, and we inherited the mustang.

Welcome! Beautiful car back then, and I’m sure it will be again soon. Man are you lucky to inherit something so collectible.

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking ride and I am sure you are anxious to get it back on the road. Where in MN? I am out in Chaska.

Thanks Bill, yes I am very excited to get it back together. I'm from a little town called Mantorville, about 15 minutes west of rochester.

Nice car, whats the engine?
It currently has a tired 302, but I have a low mileage 302 gtp head engine to go into it. I have already converted to a t5 5 speed, 8.8 explorer with 3.73 posi, and sniper efi. Even with the tired 302 that combo really gets up and goes.
