Just heard this song on the radio a couple of weeks ago. The song is called Whiskey Girl by Toby Keith, on the Shockin Y'all album. Here is the part involving the mustang....

"Baby got a '69 mustang
Foot on the floor and you oughtta hear the pipes ring
I jump behind the wheel and it's a way we go
Hey I drive too fast but she don't care
Blue bandana tied all up in her hair, just sittin there
Singin' every song on the radio"

Just thought I'd let you all know.

What!?!?!

Won't you be deported from Texas for talking like that? ;)
Ahh...the misconception, we are not all dumbass ******** down here and country music has been dead for almost 2 decades. They tried to go too mainstream and mix it with pop and finally Garth Brooks put the nails in the coffin so I no longer listen to it.

Ya, the video shows a 68 with an automatic and an I6 engine (you can just make it out when she's working on it). It's kinda sad when you focus in more on the inaccuracy of the video car rather then the drop dead gorgeous chick! He sings 69 mustang (wrong), 4 on the floor (wrong) and you oughta hear the pipes ring (i dont recall seeing dual exhaust on that car either!). You'd think with his amount of money he could at least afford to do it right!

Yea you would think he could have had a '69 428 Mach 1 or Boss 302 loaned to him without a problem.
