After a 4 month wait, my sons car is back home. He's in town for a couple weeks on vacation and it worked out GREAT that he was here to re-assemble the car. I was able to point and hand him tools while he did all of the re-assembly. We picked the car up Thursday afternoon and had it all back together by midnight.

She's going to be real hard to keep clean, but damn if she ain't a looker...

It really looks black, except that rear quarter extension in two of the pictures looks green? Is it a reflection? Looks great. No LeMans stripes this time?

I'd bet its black, a very NICE black, that is showing the reflection of the column in this picture

Although my car can look black in the right light, or the lack of light I should say

Looks awesome! I love that hood.. Anyone make a bolt on scoop like that? (Ahh, I have a deluxe repro hood anyways. I'd have to get a regular one. Probably not worth it)..

Looks great, I would have to stripe it though. I doubt he will allow too much dust to settle. Is it base/clear?

You know Dave, when you told me he wanted it all black I was a little skeptical. I thought it looked great the way it was. I was wrong. Man that thing looks sharp!

The speed of your workmanship is as impressive as the quality!

Car looks GREAT!! I love the solid black with no stripes.

I'd probably put stripes on it also, although something subtle. However, it's his car and his "vision".

Yes, BC/CC. There's a small amount of Silver flake in the Black that looks incredible in the sunlight.

Keeping the car clean will be a nightmare. We've already discussed the "drive it, clean it" routine.

My son is not a registered member of this site although he lurks here occasionally. He lives and works in Afganistan for KBR. He paid (dearly) for the car, I just built it. I didn't shoot the paint on this car.

Team III GT40 wheels on Goodyear F1 rubber 225/45/17 front, 275/45/17 rear.

Thanks for the comments guys, I'll pass them on to my son.
