We bought 16" Vintage Wheels that are like the 68 Shelbys for our 68 Fake Snake Vert.

I wanted Goodrich Comp TAs but they don't come in white raised letter in the size we need. Jay's chart says with our 16x8 rims we should get 225-255/50R16s.

I found some Goodyear Eagle Nascar #1 white raised letter in 235/55R16.
What do you think?

I don't know if I could handle that big white NASCAR on the side of my tires. What ever happened to the gold old Eagle ST's. I'm in the same boat, sort of, I'll be getting some new Magnum 500 15" wheels and will need new rubber(currently have 14") and the only thing I can find in the size I want w/white letters are the BFG's T/A's.

Although I still run BFG TA's on the stang, after 20+ years I have slowly switched all my other vehicles over to Yokohama, very impressed, better handling, wear (about 10,000 miles more per set) & about $50+ a set cheaper than BFG's or michelin
