Wanted to say HELLO, or, HOLLA (QUE BOLA!!)!! Glad to find a quality forum to LEARN and bounce ideas off of life long 'Stangers! Lil' about me: 53 year old Cuban Native relocated to Williams, AZ by way of Habana, Cuba---Paterson, NJ----West Palm Beach, FL. Always dreamt about and planned on owning my dream car, a '65 convertible 'Stang. UNTILLLL, I found a Detroit built, direct to Phoenix, Arizona 1970 MACH 1. I'm in the process of learning all about my Wimbledon White exterior & Flame Red interior "Ginger" (Oh YEAH, named after the one and only Gilligan's Island BOMBshell). Look forward to the Flagstaff & Phoenix meet ups!!

Been chasing down parts through CJ Pony Parts & Scott Drake. Any other recommendations? I'm keeping HER 100% stock, other than upgraded LED lighting and exhaust. Driving "Ginger" with NO RADIO or mobile phone in hand, takes me to a place disconnected and far-far away from the dog-eat-dog & rat race many of us find ourselves in today. Going to put a few "don't worry about rock chip" miles on HER before I sllloooowly slip her into a new exterior "dress" to accentuate her beautiful curves!

Look forward to the interchange of LAUGHS, ideas & pictures!!

Welcome. Nice Mustang, I'd leave the paint for last.
That is a beauty, welcome. I like it just the way it is.
Even though I was always partial to Mrs. Howell, we do agree that your car is beautiful! Enjoy!

Nice car!
Welcome, love your car, how long have you owned it?.... thanks for sharing!
Welcome to the VMF, nice looking 70. Was your car born as a "M" or "H" code car. If M then it would be a Cleveland motor, if H could be a Cleveland or Windsor motor.

I like it! I was up in your area back in February, but we didn't take the 65 that time.

Thank you!! Exactly! She runs GREAT, just getting used to all the new car 'sounds' and working on the lil interior details. I fear that once i drop the $10-12k on paint, I'll be too "AAAAAAAAAH rocks"..lol. We'll see

Thank you...about (6) months. Finally got it from the mechanic a cpl weeks ago. It was sitting idle on & off for 17yrs so after purchase I dropped it off right away to have her looked through thoroughly and have belts, etc changed. SO glad to crrrruise around with her now.

Thank you! Ginger is down in the Phoenix area for the winter, but will have her up in Williams soon! Hope to run into you up here!

It actually could also be a Cleveland. They used the Windsor until they used what they had on hand. Then they would use a 2bbl Cleveland.

I thought it was a Cleveland as well. My mechanic said it is a Windsor. Oddly enough it does have a 2bbl.
