Went to Pick 'n Pull today with a freind since it was half price day. Among other things, I found a '66 I-6 coupe that had been hacked to bits. It was kind of sad to see, but on a brighter note, I was able to get the fresh air vent cable, complete with knob in good shape for free! Mine was missing the knob, and since no one repros them, I was happy to find that. Unfortunately, there wasn't really anything else usable on the car, other than maybe the wiper motor/arms, but I didn't need those.

Me too! It was Ford, but not Mustang. I got a good passenger door for my '89 LTD Country Squire battlewagon.

For those that didn't hear, I got broadsided by a Ricer last week as they ran a red light. Lot of steel in my baby, and was I glad. Still haven't decided if I will fix it myself and pocket the cash to use on my Mustang. Or let the Insurance Co. handle the repair and let my Pony have my time instead.

Regardless, $10 for a good door was too good of a deal to pass up. Yeah it was 1/2 price day at our Pick-U-Part. Do they do this on all Holidays? (St. Patricks) It was as bad as trying to park at a crowded amusement park. Yikes!
