I often wonder about when the Fools will run out of their Money. Is it because there are so many Fools, or is it because they have so much Money??

Why not just build a GT-40 MKIV replica (complete with a cammer)?

This has been discussed before, like when it happened 7 months ago...

Still as pathetic now as it was then... I doubt I'll be proven wrong in saying that guy will NEVER see that money back out of that car. Looked like he bought that girl that was with him too if you watched the coverage...

And that wasn't even a car used in the movies, it was one of the 'continuation' cars CS is doing with some outfit. Since when is a G.T. 500 powered by a small block, btw?

I honestly enjoyed the movie until everyone started babbling about having "an eleanor".

Any faithful clone is a good looking car....but again, now every yuppie schmuck with money wants one.

Took the words right out of my mouth Bob. I remember seeing his old lady nagging to keep bidding, reading her lips, "go ahead" You will still have enough money left over for me to spend. Her boob job probably cost $20K. I wonder how many miles he has put on it?

We were at the Antique and Classic Car Collection at the Imperial Palace casino in Las Vegas last week. They had the supposedly original Eleanor car on display. It was valued at around a 1/4 million. I was very impressed with the car, to see it with my own eyes and not pictures. People can say what they want about Eleanors, but I really fell in love when I saw her... It was nice to see the engine compartment and interior and all the mods, etc. Plus the flowing lines. If I had an extra 1/4 mill lying around, I'd use it for something else than blowing it on an Eleanor.. :: IIRC, that car was for sale, as were numerous others on display. SWMBO just had to have a $1.5 million Austin Martin that was parked there! ::
