The neutral safety switch is going on my '69 C-4 with a 302.
I believe that the transmission is a'78 or'79. Is the switch still a '69 or should it be a'78 or '79? These parts are no longer available in this area from parts vendors or the useless Ford dealer. What is the correct part #.

Both should work....see them on egay all the time and NPD has them

Switch is most likely from the 69. Different year trans interchange but the switches do vary by year due to different wiring harnesses .
