Disconnect the S wire from the solenoid, connect that wire to battery + with a test light then turn the key to the start position. If the light comes on, the start circuit in your ignition switch is good. No light then it's probably the switch. To test the solenoid, disconnect the wire from the S terminal on the solenoid, connect a jumper wire (light gauge) to the S terminal, then touch the jumper wire to battery +. Your solenoid should click and crank the starter.
