NOS convertible trunk mat sold for $1001.98 on e-Bay. You've got to be kidding me! The price of NOS parts is getting more ridiculous by the day. Needless to say, the repro rubber trunk mat is looking pretty good for $60!

Funny thing, I bought some parts from the seller about two weeks ago and inquired about any NOS trunk mats he had. He told me he had an NOS convertible mat ~ $400. I thought it was too much and passed...

All you need is two guys with a lot of money that just need one more piece for their car. If they both hit ebay at the same time anything can happen.

This is a very rare piece. Say they show up once a year. If you have a high end show car do you want to spend another year of getting points off at shows or do you pay whatever you have to for this one?
