Not a doofus, but still...

I jsut finished a center section swap. I pulled the axles using a angled box end wrench. All in all it took a bit of time (an hour) but went smoothly. Today I went to reinstall the axles. I happened to be looking right at the axle hub when I realized that I spent probably 45 minutes too long the other day getting the axles out. Staring me right in the face was an access hold to get the axle retainers off. So, after spending 30 minutes working the other one back in, I had the second one in the car in under 5 minutes... *sigh*

I can't say I didnt learn anything today!!
