Well, apparently my previous 'Artsy-Fartsy' close-up pictures were too easy to figure out :eek:. . . and so todays
photo was graciously submitted by 390GTAcv (Jess). ::.

If I didn't know, there's no way I could identify these parts (and they're related). :p

Not having a 67-68 I can only say:

What the HELL is that!

I'm going for part of the door window mechanism.

Or something else that slides somewhere!

Its a 67-68 console bulb holder for the gear shifter mech.

I slides in the shift when you change gears and lights up the P,R,N,D,2,1

The second part looks like it is the bottom of the gear lens bezel from a console It looks as if it is broken off.

Definitly what ausmad said, the light bulb holder/slider for the 67/68 console.

:: Actually it fits on top of the bulb holder to defuse the light output so it's not so bright .The white portion covers the hole that the light shines thru .
All auto consoles started out with one , but the heat of the bulb embrittled them to the point of falling off.
