Well here it goes. After 3 1/2 years and many thousands of dollars, the day has finally come. I never thought it would, but the ol' car is off to the paint and body guy. :highfive:

I'm excited, proud, and apprehensive. I feel like the mother of a 5 year old on it's first day of kindergarden.. :joker:

Nothing to do now but wait, and, I guess, start on the wife's '66.

Hope it won't take a year and unknown extra expenses..
Been there, done that..
review the final body work yourself before it goes to paint.
no suprises.

Thanks, I appreciate the tip...I'm anticipating that it will take longer and cost more than I've been quoted, but so far, what hasn't??
