I was wondering where would an Auto Meter oil temp guage go on a 67 with a 289. I would like to add some more auto meter guages other then the temp, oil press, and volts. I think it looks cool. Now I just need 2 more guages to fill some space. I know some people might not think there is a use for it but like I said it looks cool with alot of guages.

probably somwhere on the pan, I had an Oil temp gauge on my old air-cooled VW because well, it's air cooled.... It pluged into a spot on the bottom of the oil sump.
I'm not sure where it would go on a V8 like i said maybe the pan or by the filter somwhere. Sorry not much help

Many years ago I had one in a TR-4 that I raced. came with a sender that screwed into the pan in place of the drain plug. Worked fine.
