I have a Holley 4 bbl Carb, with a filter in the carb, but I do not have an inline filter on the line from the fuel pump to the carb, which is the way it came when purchased. I changed out the gas tank, and there was a sticker that advised to change the fuel filter, and when i went looking for one, I finally figured out it was on the carb.

Just curious if anyone has an opinion on the Holley 4160 fuel filter (which is small) .vs. a bigger inline filter that could be installed between the fuel pump and carb?

Change it by regular intervals. Some say the 65 fuel pump with cannister filter is better but I don't want an "incorrect" fuel pump on mine. I have Autolite carbs with the small filter at the carb. Hasn't ever been a problem.
