I bought an original set of 65/66 Cobra - Buddy Bar valve covers from the classified section awhile back. The passenger side valve cover does not have a hole cut for the pcv and but the drivers side has the hole for the breather.
I have never seen another pair of Cobra valve covers like this. Whats the deal? Do I have to get a special breather for the drivers side? Should I (gulp)/forums/images/icons/crazy.gif cut a hole in the passenger one for the pcv? Any ideas...?

Some very early engines had the road draft tube plumbed to a plate at the back of the intake manifold similar to the more familiar big-block arrangement. It sounds as though you have an early set of covers. Does the casting even have a boss that is capable of machining for a PCV valve??
