Keep the original or change? When I redid my engine I took the PS pump off and pulled it apart and rebuilt it. I still have a small leak where the pump hooks in the Borgeson. I don't think the nipple seals completely. Not a big leak but a drop here and there. I looked at changing hoses but wouldn't that just give me the same end fitting?

Just throwing out some thoughts.

First get a big flare nut wrench and try to crank down on the fitting pretty hard. This old setup sometimes need a lot of force to fully tighten (per Chockostang).
