Has anyone tried those new, original Ford tooling 64 1/2 hoods that are now available? Thanks! ::

I haven't tried or seen them, but if they are made with the Ford tooling, then they are made from the '66/service replacement tooling. Which means that it will look like a 64.5 hood on the outside and have the correct beveled edges for the post-April cars, but the underside of the hood will have the '66 compression areas.
