I've always thought black with light blue valve covers, although I read once where someone saw an all light blue 260 engine.

I thought the same thing - black block with blue valve cover and air cleaner - the blue is different from the corporate blue Ford adopted in '66. If I had Bob Mannel's book handy, I'd look it up but I have it buried with my other 'Stang tech manuals.

as mentioned, the block assembly is black and the valve covers and air cleaner are Ford blue... like a Grabber blue color.

MCA also accepts orange valve covers and air cleaner.

the snorkel on the air cleaner is always black though. in 66 is was pained blue like the rest of the engine.

never heard of an all blue 64.5 260 engine.
