Does anyone know what size the orignal tires were on the 65 HT I6.

Standard was 6.50 x14 rayon tires
Optional was 6.95 x 14
(some early cars recieved 6.50 x13)

I didn't think 14" wheels appeared on 6 cylinder cars until 1966. I've only ever seen 6 cylinder 65s with 13 inchers.

Got to disagree ;)

In addition MCA will allow either (what I listed was from the juding sheet)

Don't have one handly but doesn't the tire pressure decal show 14" also?

Just thinking about it .. (not that owning make it original) I've had 3 or 5 6 cylinder 65's all with 14"

My first Stang was a '65 coupe..6 cylinder and it came from the factory with 695X13 tires..If I remember correctly, I think it might have also had 4 bolt wheels..
