Enemy at the Gates. SWMBO and I saw it Saturday night. Wow. What a great movie. Sure glad I didn't have to live through that. The most unbelievable thing is it is a true story (pretty much) about a sniper duel that took place during the battle of Stalingrad. Great story, great action, great effects, great acting.

Just wanted to share.

Been loking forward to seeing that one, glad to hear its supposed to be a good movie. I heard its a lot like Saving Private Ryan but not as graphic.

Did either of you see "the Thin Red Line"? Beatifully shot movie. Although since I read the book, a few of the changes that they made bothered me a bit. Good book as well, but not for everyone.

I saw it last week and thought it was excellent. I was telling my brother about it and he finished the story for me from his recollection of what he had read years ago.

There is another movie about the battle of Stalingrad called "Stalingrad" , go figure. Anyway you can find this movie in the foreign film section of any decent video store. I think you'll like it.
