Lasy week I bought a small garden tractor called a Gibson. It has a 2 cylinder Wisconsin engine. For the tranny it uses a Borg Warner T-96. My tranny is junk, except for the reverse gear and reverse idler. I am looking for specific information as to what cars used these transmissions. That way I may be able to find one in a classic wrecking yard. So far I now they were used in Nash, Hudson, AMC, Studebaker, and industrial applications. Does anyone know any more specifics? What industrial applications used these tranny's? Know any good places to get parts?

Oh yeah, the tractor was built in the early 50's. Gibson was in business from 48-52. How long were these transmissions built for other applications?

Thanks,

Brian
