289, 4 on the floor, no A/C, no power steering, no power brakes - a lot to get used to, LOL. Especially the "no A/C in South Carolina! But what the heck, the top drops. Gonna be a Sunday driver, not a show car.

The previous owners didn't do the restoration and they've had it for around 12 years. Garage kept during the winter and seldom driven during nice weather. They got to the point where they just couldn't drive it anymore. The owner before them did the restoration. I only have the records of the few things, that the most recent owners, that were done in the way of service and a few parts.

The top and seats are virtually new and the paint is VERY nice. Still a few minor things that need to be done but the car runs, drives, rides and looks great.

Nice car... I wonder what the Original Interior colors were...

On most "amateur" restorations, People almost always incorrectly paint the Inner Doors, Dash, Steering Column and Rear Trim Panels the same color as the outer body of the car.... I'll never know why people do it...They just do. Guess it's just easier to the easy way out and make everything one color. It was NEVER that way originally... The Outer Body paint was always a different color than the interior colors. Colors may have been "Close" , but they were NEVER the same. Also, No interior panel paint or dash paint was ever "Glossy"...Another mistake commonly made.

Enjoy your car... Drive the tar out of her...

)

Very nice car. Reminds me of the 64 1/2 my dad had as a child. Red, white top, and white interior. Enjoy!
