Our new propane V10 with Turbo pic!!!

Ok...so its not in a Mustang, but check it out...its in our 80,000KW standby generator! Its a Ford V10 with turbo that runs off propane or natural gas. When the tec man opened the side doors today, I couldnt believe it when I saw the V10 valve covers. Then the turbo too! This generator is for our city sewer plant. Can you believe the tax payers have a turboed V10 turd pusher in case of a power failure? Just thought Id share.

It burns 8 turds (gallons),an hour... :thumbsup:

that could be self powered in the future!!
Down under we are extracting methane from turds, so with a little tweaking the genset could be fart powered

I can see it now, he's gonna add Flowmasters to it and he'll be out there running the throttle by hand revving it up! Next will be a cam, intake, new wastegate on the turbo........

I saw a V8 powered generator running at a sewer plant here in Indiana that was running right off the methane coming from the sewer mains.

Not really a GREEN solution. More of a BROWN solution.

I think Congress is running on that stuff already.

Naaaaaa.........Just Pelosi. I keep a picture of her (BUF) handy in case I break down on a Railroad crossing. As far as the rest of the turds in "congross", its past time for an enema. May the Potomac soon over flow.
