Got one drum off withot trouble. It pulled right off. The one on the left side isn't cooperating as well. It wiggles ever so slightly (the drum) but the outer wheel bearing will not move. How do you get that bugger out?

If the car is on sturdy stands, you can bolt the wheel back on with a couple nuts and either whack it with a dead blow composite hammer or wiggle it back and forth. There also are hub pullers which center on the spindle and grip the back ridge of the drum...usually only used on keyed rear axles (old car stuff; showing my age *G*)

Sometimes, the brakes can groove a drum and backing the shoes off through the adjuster window hole can help...

Try some stuff and get back to us....

Got two small scredrivers behind the bearing and it eventually let go. Now the process of swapping all of the V8 steering components and disc set-up in begins! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
