No trick. it's just a b**ch I got a straightened hanger under the dash through the screw hole then through the molding hole to guide my screw back in, but it was the most difficult part of replacing the dash. Also, I put my shop light under the dash so I could try to "go to the light" with with my screw.
Good luck. Oh, and once you get one in, the others don't necessarily line right up. So each hole is your own personal little hell.
