I am having a difficult time putting the dash molding back on my 66 coupe.This is the molding with left and right halves.Is there any secret or trick.Is it suppose to go under the rubber windshield seal?Thanks.

No trick. it's just a b**ch I got a straightened hanger under the dash through the screw hole then through the molding hole to guide my screw back in, but it was the most difficult part of replacing the dash. Also, I put my shop light under the dash so I could try to "go to the light" with with my screw.

Good luck. Oh, and once you get one in, the others don't necessarily line right up. So each hole is your own personal little hell.

Yes. It is a whole lot of trial and error. You basically try to get one in then force the rest in /forums/images/icons/smile.gif. I destroyed my new dash today doing the same thing.
