Give Steve a call at Steve's Auto Body in Garden Ridge.
He did some paint work for once. He's not restoration shop, but paint & body, and will do a good job for a reasonable price. He's also owned some Stangs himself. For resto service try Jeff Lilly Restoration. You may want to check with Alamo Classic Mustang too, but I'm not sure of their price/quality.

Garden Ridge is Just north of Loop 1604 and to the west of IH-35. After looking into this some more, he is actually in Bracken, but still has a SA address and phone. You can go to mapquest.com to get a map of where the location is. I'm not sure if Steve still owns the business, but you may want to give them a call for a quote if it's not too far to travel in the city from where you're at. I'm in Arkansas now but used to live up in that area (still own my house near 1604 and Nacodoches and usually make a trip to SA a couple of times a year to visit the in-laws). Give them a call, it can't hurt to ask. Here's their info:

Bracken Collision Ctr
18414 5th St, San Antonio, TX 78266
(210) 651-6822

Also, have you tried asking anyone from the San Antonio Mustang Club? They may be able to make a recommendation. You can call Jack Klug at (210) 653-6046 or visit their web site at: http://clubs.hemmings.com/sanantoniomustang/info.html

I was a member when I lived there.
