I am trying to decide what type of paint to use on the 69 and I am looking for opinions. I know I will be going with PPG paint in the original color - Lime (slime) Green.
I am not decided on whether to go with a single stage paint or a BC/CC. What would be your choice? I have just about finished wet sanding the primer/guide coat and have to make a decision soon.
Thanks for your help.

There is NO substitute for BC/CC in my opinion. If you can afford it, do it. You won't be regretful that you did, plus the two-stage paint is much more durable than a single stage. Couple your BC/CC with a regular wash/wax routine and you've got beautiful paint for years!

i think that there is a lot of colors that get a basecoat/clearcoat that really don't need to be [whites, reds, black, solid colors]but that green met. will come alive with the clearcoat, you can color sand and buff if you want. and it will maintain its shine for many years to come, without it it will be hard to get a shine with a depth to it.
