I use Eastwood's Detail Gray and Spray Gray and they look great and hold up well.

I use Eastwood stainless high temperature paint (can, not spray). They advertise it for exhaust manifolds and it works great for that application, but I also use it on brake calipers, drums, and rotors (not on the machined part of the rotor, just the rough cast parts). It's easy to apply with a brush and I figure it can handle the heat. It's also a nearly perfect match for the original cast iron finish, and a can of it goes a long-g-g way.

I haven't used it yet, but I understang "Eastwood" has various coatings for this purpose. If you're looking for something fancy, I would say your best bet may be powder coating it.
