After almost two years of misery, 5 rounds of block sanding, paint, blocking again, striping and reclearing, I'm almost done with my buddie's 67.

One more blocking with 2000 and a buff job and this bad boy is going home!

Kind of a bittersweet feeling.

The really good news is I'll have more time to hang
out on the board 'til I start on my 69 Mach :p

Great color, I like very much. You wrote that it is kind of bittersweet feeling! I know that and I hope that you have enough project pictures from that time when everything was middle of something. It is real reality check when you look those pictures later and think how big job this was.

Keep up good work

That is the same color I am going to go with. Many people make fun of it until they see it.

I confess, I was thinking that I didn't like the color, but then I noticed the stripes. Awesome paint job and the stripes 'make' the car. Heck, that's a better job with the ghost stripes than a local show-car painter has on his raspberry '70 Chevelle. You should be proud.

Wow....
That's quite a compliment.

Thanks

I chickened out at the end and had my crack painter here at the shop spray the car. I have not painted for years.

I will pass your comments on to him.
