Does any body know if there is a scematic drawing, a kinda template out there that shows the correct measurments on how the blacked out hood and the edging should go? Thanks guys in advance.

Yes, do a search, only a couple of weeks ago someone listed a link to a site on the web which has downloadable or viewable images. I think the site is www.graphic-express.com. Good luck - I will need the thing.....

I'm just curious if you've decided on what paint to use on the hood? I'm thinking of just trying the Krylon 1613 dry spray method.

If you use the spray bomb paints buy a bunch of it or never wash it and keep it out of the sun 'cause it will require repainting otherwise. I used a spray gun chassis black paint that requires hardener which will not fade like the rattle can junk. It matched the original Ditzler stuff used by the factory

Scott, I was up your way this past weekend. I remembered too late (right before reaching the intersection of 9 and 202) that I should have given you a call. Can I assume the restoration shop is getting ready to do the detailed painting? If so, does that mean you'll be getting the car back soon?
