My cowl doesn't leak so I did not do anything to it. I am getting the car preped for painting and I would love to get some paint or bed liner spray inside the cowl area. Any tips on getting to that area short of taking it apart?

You are most likely going to get overspray into this area when you do the regular bc/cc on the top surface of the cowl. This is what happened with the factory and will happen to you as well. If you are concerned afterwards, there is an option to reach through with a small straw attached to a nozzle on a rattle can and spray some flat black, zero rust or other type of dull undercoating. These "straws" are the little red ones typically found on cans of WD40 and carb cleaner and can be used on spray cans of the above mentioned materials.
