So I've tried calling Fuel Safe today without luck. Does anyone know what the part number or correct dimensions are for a fuel safe cell for a 70 Mach 1?

Mustangs Plus list 4 different FUEL SAFE fuel cells for 70. Look them up at www.mustangsplus.com

Mustang Depot also carries Fuel Safe, in case you are interested in price shopping.

I got my Pro series from Mustangs Plus, along with the filler kit to allow filling from the stock location. I like the combination.

Just in case you are not aware of this little factoid... the bladder in the fuel cells is only good for five years...

The cells are the same for all 65-73 vintage stangs (16 or 22 gal with Pro or Sportmans bladders 5/10yr).

So what happens when the 5 years goes by? Can you replace the bladder?

I'm getting closer to the 5 year mark now myself. I'm thinking the bladder will hold up fine it's just a matter of track certification/regulations.
