As far as judging goes, I doubt if you just clear them it will cost you any points. As far as the correct answer to your question, I dunno? I'd wager though if there is a difference in the finish between the two pieces it would be whatever natural is in both cases.
Passenger Rear Metal Brake Line with those Springy looking protectors?
I just cleaned up my original steel rear brake lines that clamp into the rear axle housing. I was just going to give them a shot of clear paint, but I'm wondering if the two protective coil springs that are tightly wrapped around the pass. side line (the longest line) are supposed to be a different color or finish? This is for a 68 289/Auto Mustang Conv. BTW.
