I need to know where the hose for the PCV valve connects to the engine. I have a 65 289 K code but the engine has a Cobra intake and a holley carb. When I got the car there was just a plastic elbow on the valve cover and the hose went to a fitting on one of the intake runners (NO PCV valve). Is this correct? I was told I really should use a PCV valve and it would be better to run it to a spacer plate under the carb. What was the setup on a Shelby?

Thanks for the info. 2 more questions, was there actually a PCV valve or was it just an open piece of hose? And is that fitting on the intake runner supposed to be there?

There was a pcv valve and it needs to be vented into a hose that vents into the carb/intake/air cleaner.

The intake has more fittings than are needed. Just plug them with some brass fittings.
