I really am interested in the old cars and how they worked. In 1978 my first car was a 1974 AMC Gremlin, with a 232 motor if I recall correctly, three on the floor, with a points ignition. So, I am not totally unfamiliar with the old stuff and also not afraid to have it and learn how to make the adjustments. While each to his own, I think for me, I am going to stick with a points ignition. Also, based on what others have said, if i get the drums working well enough for easy daily driving, I am staying with drums also. This has been a great exercise in getting knowledgeable opinions on both sides to make my own decision. Still thinking on replacing the bias ply tires with wider radials and maybe some lw 20 wheels in 15 inch, but gonna drive it a while first. However, air is a must before May. Thanks again.
