I hate to ask a photo question, but here goes - Are there any FREE services for storing photos on the web? I used to have photopoint, but I understand that they now charge and I'm not wanting it bad enough to pay for it. Please help if you can.
Thanks,

Photopoint allows you to store a certain amount for free, then it's like $10/yr over that limit. I've got a bunch on photopoint and I'm not paying.

I just put a bunch of stuff on Yahoo photos. Free, lots of megabytes, and easy to allow public or private access to photos. I haven't found out yet how I can link a photo to a VMF post through Yahoo like I do with Photopoint. I'm sure it can be done, anybody know how?

I have been using Yahoo's photo album. I believe my pic with the signature is coming through (yours came through fractured) but I can't get a pic in the area on the left of the messages where my login name is. I'm getting frustrated.
Anyway when you finally get your photos in Yahoo's album (make sure they are small enough not to be too huge in your VMF message) click on the photo in Yahoo until the pic is the only thing on the screen. Copy this address to your VMF message area with the appropriate 'YAHOO URL.jpg'. Review your comment. If the pic shows , hey it works. Mine shows, hopefully it works. Let me know if mine is actually working at the bottom of this message. Thanks.

It works for you 'cause it's in your cache. No one else sees it. Yahoo is really Geocities which will not allow this. Read my 70 or so previous replies to this problem and you should be all set. There are plenty of hosts out there if you take the time to test them.

But let me suggest that you just wait a bit. As I said before there are things in the works to solve this problem. Until then just enjoy the Aussie pics, he sure has enough of 'em.

Thanks Jay.
Now I know my pics are a waste of time. I'll take your advice and wait until this site accepts them I guess.
And here I was going to post those bikini clad babes waxing my '67.

even if it is only useful as a bad example. I look at this as my hobby, I have fun and I enjoy life and commenting on it (hopefully in a non-agressive, non-hostile, fun-loving manner). If I ever start to take it too seriously, I think I will move on to the "racers'" forum instead of the "vintage" forum. Sorry if I ruffled your feathers... (twice: one "no dust" and one "uh, oh!"). It won't happen again, Jim...
