Decided to make the leap to the 21st century and took some pix up to the local CVS drug Kodak kiosk. Had a clerk make 10 pix for me. Got them home and damn if they aren't sideways. I don't have a photo package but was able to get a Kodak editor up but when I pulled it up the pixs were all pixilatted (sp?). Wrestled with it for about a half an hour an I could get them to rotate but the pix just didn't work.

I reallly want to put some pictures up but I don't want everyone to have to rotate their monitors 90 degrees. Any ideas as to how to fix this or should I go back to CVS and have her re-do them in the proper fashion?

Thanks.

What kind of computer do you use---Mac or PC?

What kind of images are they---do filenames end in .jpg, .gif, or what?

If you are using a PC, there is a graphics program called Paint or Paintbrush or something like that (depends on your version of Windows) in the Accessories folder on the Start menu. This program will open common filetypes (.jpg, .gif, .bmp), though you may have to enter *.* in the filename box in order to see them in the selection window.

Then when you have it open, look on the Image menu for the Flip/Rotate command and start playing. (You may want to make copies of your pictures before actually saving anything.)

It depends, if you have Microsoft Office 2000, it came with Photoeditor, which can rotate photos, etc. If you do have Office 2000, let me know and I'll help you set it up.

Otherwise, I have a small program at home I can send you if need be. It's just one file, small, and works great. Not the most user friendly interface, but it's free :)

My sons. Their twins, 6 years old. I Love cars, but those kids make cars totally insignificant. Maybe that's why I never get anything done on the car!

Go here and e-mail me your pix...

I've been able to do editing on photopoint pix without problem...although I'll do yours in Photoshop and post them to my FTP...
