As you can see in the 2 pics below, cutting 3/4 of a coil from the helix made about 2" of drop, even with the stiff 620 coils. You guys are right, it does make for a stiff ride, so I may eventually get softer coils and do this all over again... For now, it really improved the stance of the front end and the car looks meaner and badder this way...just what I want.

Thought I'd post a pic of the coil chop though. It was nerve racking, challenging and fun. And I never want to change coils again!!! However I'm glad its done and am happy with how the front end is coming along.

Daveoxide said it would ride stiffer than a covered wagon...yeah, I think it rides rougher than a lumber wagon!!! :: Should make an excellent cornering car, hehe! Stance looks great though, I'm more than happy with the ride height results.
