My car has been used in a movie for about a month now and it's last day of filming was today. It was a very interesting process and I'm glad I let them use it. Met some very nice people and made a few friends. The movie will be called "Kalamazoo?" and is expected to be done with post production this spring.

Very cool! Friends of ours had their house used for a TV movie-of-the-week tearjerker a few years ago - got free paint, drapes, and shrubs out of the deal, as well as a whack of cash.

I used my kitchen as the location for a patient education video last year - kids thought it was pretty neat.

Is the movie set in the sixties? If so, I wonder how long it will take for someone to point out the anachronism of the BFG Radial TA's. Not exactly a wristwatch on a Centurion, but still... :)

The movie is set in this time period, The director said it was not important about the tires or the alpine stereo I have in the car. The producers hope to have a premiere in Kalamazoo this spring. As for the fate of the film it's up to the distributors if it hits theaters or goes to HBO or TV or whatever. It's a lower budget film of just under 2 million. Hey, I was just in Kalamazoo last week supervising greenscreens for that movie!! I read the script on the flight home and a "classic Mustang" was featured prominently -- I wondered who's car they used.

Very nice people, fun script -- should be a good film.

Great lookin' car, too!

Dude, you have Blossom sitting in your backseat. :: My daughter used to love her when she was on TV. I wondered if she was still acting or not.

Cool, I heard about the greenscreen scenes, Something to do with the heaven scene there shooting? We have a script also and was fortunate enough to get everyone to sign it. We also where there for all the stunts. Was basically just some fast taking off and stopping. We met blossom and my daughter had her picture taken with her, She is a very nice lady.

:: I can see where it might look that way from the pictures in that auto garage. I met the guy who owns that garage, It's his personal collection of cars in there. He just buys them done and enjoys them, He has a hoist in there just to display the chevy on it :D
