This MF will not post my pictures no matter how I try to do it. The URL is correct, I can cut and paste it in a new window and bang, it's there just fine. There is nothing wrong with the URL!!! I take that URL and PASTE it into the pictures spot on my "edit profile" page and "submit" and burp, no picture. Refresh the page, dump the Cache, clear the history, whatever, no picture. I can paste the same link to another web page and it loads just fine. What the heck am I missing here?

I got your pic to load by right clicking on it. I was sent to a page on your net provider, then it loaded & is still loaded.

Looks like Tripod has something funny going too. If I right click on your broken picture I get taken to a Tripod page that has a link to the picture. When I click on that link it loads the pic (with the mustache). Then I come back here and it now works (because I have 'opened' the link, and it's now in my cache).

Make sure you don't have http:// that you are pasting in the field. It is already provided for you, just start with www.

I made this mistake at first.

It's the cache alright. When I force the page to reload and clear the cache (by holding shift and hitting reload) your pic is broken again. I'm gonna have to stop recommending Tripod now. I'll find some recommended hosts tomorrow.

I hit reload & your pic went away. Hey, if you want you can send me the pic & I'll put it on my provider. Then you can put that address on here.

Well I'm 2 for 2. My web page is on Stangnet and my ISP is AOL. You can't externally reference stuff from either place as far as I can tell.

I used to use Tripod and what you are experiencing is typical of them. Change storage servers. Talk to you provider about sucking up some FTP space. You probably have it included in you service.
