As a person who travels the country, occasionally I run across the local "cruise in". This is a pleasant break from the boring hotel/cable t.v. routine. What are some of your favorite spots? when are they? Here in florida we have the very popular old town cruise every sat night near orlando, and the ever growing "strawberry classic car show" in plant city. (between tampa and orlando) the third sat eve of every month. what are yours?

We have a lot of cruises in the summer here in northeast Ohio, but my favorite is in Massillon. It's every Saturday night during the summer. They close down the main drag through town and the whole thing becomes one big cruise. Another is in Mayfield Village, Ohio, but its just once a year. It's usually the first Saturday in June, and they close the whole town. They have several bands and food vendors. It attracts 2-3,000 vehicles and many spectators.

Here in southern california we have a cruise in at a burger restaraunt called Fuddruckers on saturday nights in the city of Pasadena. It attracts about 125 cars during the winter and around 250 during the summer. and at around 8:00PM they have a cruise through Old Town Pasadena. This is a great place to go for a nice relaxing time to check out cars and show off yours, and since it is mostly older guys (40-80) there is alot of show winning quality cars. But being 17 and liking the loud music of really cruising the blvd, i love cruising on Whittier Blvd. in the city of whittier. It has everything for us younger generation, girls, cars, girls, loud music, and girls.

My favorite is called " Wiskey Cafe " in East Rutherford, NJ about 2 miles from the Continental Arena where the Giants home stadium is. It's run by a fifties custum car club, but EVERY type of car is there up to race cars trying to pass for street cars.

Funny about the Giants, they're called the NY Giants but they play in NJ, go figuire.

Every Thursday night during the summer, there is a cruise-in at the Heberts Candy Mansion on Route 20 in Shrewsbury, MA. There are usually a couple of hundred cars there and all of them nice. Everything from wild customs to Shelby's to vintage muscle cars of all makes and models.

Hey!

Where do these cruises take place? I'm in the Orlando area too with a '66 coupe.

Let me know and I'm there!
